DOUGLAS LUNA      MUSIC VIDEO REEL

    ABOUT ME

Douglas Luna is a visual storyteller, photographer, videographer, and designer whose career has been shaped by service, creativity, and a commitment to meaningful communication. A graduate of the Defense Information School at Fort Meade, Maryland, Douglas built his professional foundation in the United States Army, serving as a Combat Camera specialist from 2007 to 2012.

During his military service, he documented live-action training environments, photographed high-level operations, and produced visual media used for both operational documentation and instructional critique. His assignments took him across multiple countries including Germany and Romania, where he captured training exercises involving American units preparing for deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan.

While stationed in Maryland, Douglas worked in a special operations support environment connected to the 75th Ranger Regiment, where he helped document and process highly sensitive imagery for mission support. His military background instilled technical precision, discipline, and an instinct for capturing authentic moments under pressure.

After his military service, Douglas transitioned those abilities into the commercial creative world, founding Knowledge Entertainment, where he directed music videos and visual campaigns for artists including Nicki Minaj, DVBBS, and Killah Priest of the Wu-Tang Clan.

His work expanded into professional photography, branding, and media production, where he developed a reputation for strong composition, dramatic lighting, and cinematic storytelling through imagery.

Beyond commercial work, Douglas has also used media as a tool for civic engagement and social impact. As a content creator and social media manager for Nicaragua Libre, he helped grow the platform to more than 240,000 followers while supporting Nicaragua’s pro-democracy movement through documentary-style storytelling and visual communication.

Having traveled to more than 30 countries and worked with people from diverse backgrounds, Douglas brings a global perspective to his work rooted in empathy, discipline, and visual storytelling. He is currently continuing to build on that foundation through formal education in digital design while combining years of real-world experience with advanced creative training.
